NVIDIA is going to use Optimus with all new mobile Fermi

NVIDIA is planning to launch high end mobile Fermi-based graphics card before the middle of this year. lets hope ATI will sort out their products and offer something really competitive till then, as those HD5000 didn't bring much good so far.

Here is one of the first benchmarks of ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850. You will not like its 128-bit memory bur. Not the slow DDR3 memory. And you will definitely hate the test results.

Continuing the videocard topic – I had interesting experience with one fellow NVIDIA guy. Just after we started arguing which are the better cards (we couldn’t resolve it as I don’t play Crysis or any other FPS for that matter), I told him about something that I’ve read recently at Fudzilla. All he said laughing was: “Fuad? Beleive me, he IS green.” Is this twisted? Definitely, after we thought him red for so long.

BTW – we looked at his site and he shows no signs of panic about NVIDIA whereabouts. God knows what he knows, but the fact there is nothing about NVIDIA there isn’t promising.

5/10 for changing the teams. Eventually we will give him another 5 when he switches over to ATI again :)
