Some time ago we wrote about Acer’s new addition to the 120 Hz monitors for gaming and 3D Vision – the GD245HD – a 24-inch 3D Vision Ready display with Full HD resolution. Acer soon followed with news about another 120 Hz TFT monitor – the GD235HZ, which would be a cheaper version with WSXGA+ resolution with a bit bigger screen than the popular Samsung and Viewsonic monitors with their 22-inch wide screens. UPDATE – we just received information that it would be the same product as GD245HD with 23.5″ panel and FullHD resolution!
It seems that no matter how hard is for NVIDIA to sell its S3D technology lately due to the lack of new graphic cards and ATI’s dominion in matter of performance, manufacturers still got on the NVIDIA bus and they will end up having huge selection of 120 Hz displays in Q1 2010. Which again could be the time we would see something new from NVIDIA, or we hope so. What is sure for now is that there would be few hot products waiting for the Fermi-based gaming cards and this one is one of those. Of course the price tag has to be low if people are to prefer the 23″ instead of the FullHD 24-incher we spoke earlier of.
Nice for Acer though, they start to make new products at speed that only few companies could achieve, and most often look promising Actually what a lot of crap – another name for the same product, shame on them…
We found the information about GD235HZ at 3DVision Blog here.

Actually what a lot of crap – INDEED Nvidia is the dominant brand ATI each day goes more and more down on the ground with the “100″ monitor technology? please
What a load of crap. You’re obviously some disgruntled ATI fanboy who can’t stand the fact that your crap ATI graphics card can’t handle 3d, so you have to slag off Nvidia just to make yourself feel better for having purchased an ATI graphics card. Get over it.
